Children and family law
On the breakdown of a family relationship, the welfare of the children must come first.
Harters can help you make appropriate arrangements for the care of your children including resolving fundamental issues as to where and with whom they will live and as to how often the other parent will have contact with them. We are also very experienced in dealing with issues of an emergency nature e.g. child abduction. We have expertise in dealing with specific issues which may arise, for example, obtaining permission from the court for a child's removal from the jurisdiction and in resolving specific disputes, e.g. as to the particular school a child should attend.
We aim to ensure that such matters are resolved with a minimum of conflict recognising that it is best for you and your partner to be able to communicate with each other as parents in future.
